The 7th Annual Clean Cities Alternative Fuels and Advanced Technology Vehicles Expo showcased exciting alternative fuel projects underway in the state of Connecticut. The 2011 event featured projects fueled by a $13.2 million dollar American Resource and Recovery Stimulus grant. The projects ranged in diversity from building new infrastructure to large-scale vehicle deployment, and include a variety of clean fuels — liquid natural gas (LNG), compressed natural gas (CNG), electricity, hydrogen and biofuels.

This effort represents the largest Alternative Fuels Showcase of DOE sponsored projects ever collectively undertaken in Connecticut history.
